good stuff assembled in usa. “simply beautiful” edition concert size, solid mahogany all over, rosewood fretboard and bridge, slotted headstock like a guitar – and feels amazingly light with only 504g. my first glossy one. no other bling though; the regular edition comes with a nice rope binding on body and around the soundhole.

worth bm strings in linear tuning produce a very mellow and warm sound. she really sings and is fun to play – just right for a cold evening with ugly weather outside… and should your fingers ever hurt from excessive playing she is still a beauty to look at. let the sun shine on it and enjoy.

i think this is one of the nicest ukuleles i ever owned – but i sold her to a close friend after i got my big island koa concert. seems to be a win-win situation now: the mainland gets played a bit more often, i still can play her when i like and my friend was more than happy to finally get hold of this beauty (after craving for it for years and years)
